Concept
Stitching together the traces of memories that were never recorded.
I make works that stitch down with embroidery the things designed for consumption whose role within the system has ended, such as packaging, labels and the traces left behind in daily life, or fragments of memory that no longer even have a name. As if to give form to memory once its support is gone, I leave only the thread behind.

・Works are handed over approximately 2-3 weeks after the exhibition closes. We will contact you by email once your work is ready.
・In-store pickup: the work can be collected in person at biscuit gallery (Shinjuku, Tokyo).

About the artist
記録されなかった記憶の気配を縫っている。
消費のために設計され、制度の中で役目を終えた包装やラベル、生活に残る痕跡——あるいは、もう名前すら持たない記憶の断片を、刺繍によって縫いとめる作品を制作している。支えを失ったあとの記憶にかたちを与えるように、糸だけを残している。
