Starting from the intersection of the reproducibility inherent in printmaking and the singularity of drawing, the artist develops her practice. Transferring brushstroke lines to a plate and, through silkscreen technique, developing images in repetition and variation, she attempts to construct a pictorial space in which multiple layers and times intersect on a single plane. By actively incorporating chance into the production process, she reexamines the very act of 'painting.'
