Statement
Working mainly in wood sculpture and photography, taking familiar objects as motifs, and drawing on existing forms and on trajectory and movement,
I make work out of the geometric figures that this generates. I am also pursuing the effects that arise from color composition.
Taking the theories of form and the color composition established within art history through geometric figures, and focusing them on familiar things of the present day,
Through sculpture, photography and other media, I want to sweep away fixed ideas and unfold, from as many angles as possible, the new perspectives hidden within them.

About the artist
主に木材による立体作品や写真を中心に、身近にあるものをモチーフに、既存のフォルムと軌道や運動を基に生み出される幾何学図形の表現活動を行っている。また、色彩構成によって生まれる効果についても追及している。
美術史の中で確立された、幾何学図形を通した造形理論と色彩構成を、現代における身近なものに焦点をあて、
固定概念の払拭や潜んでいる新たな視点を立体作品や写真などを通し、多角的に展開していきたい。
